We're at 45 N. Main St. in downtown Concord, NH 03301. Come in through our front door on Main St. or our side entrance on Warren St., directly across from the School St. Garage entrance. Get directions.

We're closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The day before each one (the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve), we close early at 4 PM. See our holiday hours.

We have three free customer parking spots on the Warren St. side, right before the School St. Garage entrance, steps from our Warren St. door. The garage is free on weekends. On weekdays, floors 1 and 2 are permit only, so head to the third floor or higher. Main St. meters are free on Sundays and after 7 PM. See all parking options.

Yes. Our Main St. entrance is wheelchair accessible. Our lower level isn't, but we're always happy to bring anything up for you or shop it on your behalf.

No. Just walk in any time we're open. Every fitting is free.

We measure both feet for length, width and shape, fresh every visit, since most people have one foot a little bigger than the other. Then we ask how you'll wear your shoes and bring out styles that fit your feet and your day. More about our fittings.

Yes. We measure kids' feet the same careful way, and we re-measure at every visit, since growing feet can change in just a few months. Our kids' sizes start at infant size 4 and run up through big kids, and for babies we carry soft shoes from Robeez and Kizik sized by months, in the store. More about kids' fittings.

Yes. We carry narrow, wide and extra-wide widths in many styles, usually up to men's 4E and women's 2E, plus a few 6E styles. If a brand makes your width, we can usually special order it for you. Yes. We carry men's sizes up to 17 in select styles. Give us a call and we'll check what's in stock in your size.

Look for a supportive shoe that meets your arch where it's at, with extra cushion if you're already hurting. We often fit heel pain with Hoka, Aetrex, Brooks, Saucony, Clarks, Birkenstock and Dansko. A firmer shoe is better for your feet in the long run, but it can feel rough while you're sore, so we'll help you find the right balance. Yes. BILLY Footwear is our go-to for anyone wearing an AFO (ankle-foot orthosis) brace, for kids and adults. Its zipper runs around the shoe so the whole top opens up, letting you set your foot and brace in from above instead of squeezing them through a narrow opening. No, we don't carry diabetic or extra-depth shoes. If you just need more room, we have plenty of wide and roomy styles, and we're happy to measure your feet and show you what fits.

Yes. We carry socks from Darn Tough, OS1st, Feetures, Smartwool, Thorlo, Farm to Feet, Wide Open, Stance and Sockwell, plus cleaning and care products from Jason Markk and Nikwax, and replacement laces from Lock Laces and Adventure Andy. Some of these are in the store only.

Yes, in the store. We carry insoles from Aetrex, SOLE and Oboz, and we'll help you choose one that supports your arch and fits your shoes. How to choose insoles.

Yes. Our Clearance Center in the store has marked-down shoes and boots from the brands we carry. Clearance items are sold in store only.

Days 1 to 30: full refund of the amount paid.
Days 31 to 45: store credit or exchange.
After 45 days: returns aren't accepted.
Windows start on your purchase date. Items need to be in new condition, in the original box, and only tried on indoors. Read the full return policy.

Please bring your receipt. If you're a Joe King's Rewards member, we can look up your purchase right at the register instead.

Start within 30 days of delivery by filling out our Return Authorization form, which sends your request to JoeKingsShoes@gmail.com. Please wait for our confirmation before shipping anything back. Return shipping is paid by the customer.

Yes. Bring it to our Concord store and we'll handle it under our in-store return policy, with no shipping cost. We can help you find a better fit while you're here.

No. Apparel purchased online is final sale, so double-check sizing before you order. Questions about fit? Contact us first and we'll help.

Defects in materials or workmanship are handled under the manufacturer's policy, separate from the regular return window. Bring them in or reach out and we'll take care of it. If we shipped you a defective item, we cover the return shipping.

Since 1951. Joe King started selling shoes from his home on Broadway Street, then opened a storefront on Warren Street. The shop moved to Pleasant Street in 1981 and settled at 45 N. Main St. in 2001. Read our story.
